In our rural area there is no shelter for Domestic Violence victims. We are here to address these voids for trauma informed care as well as referral and support for victims of domestic violence. We are here to fulfill the promise of safe shelter and services that allow people the new start they deserve.
Every Monday we will open the doors of our shelter to offer services from all the agencies in the area to better serve men and woman who have found themselves homeless on the street, just in need of counseling or drug and alcohol services to put lives back together. No matter who wants our help, we will make our doors open for citizens to reach out for solutions to the problems that plague our community.
We will offer space as available for women and children who find themselves homeless. We want to work towards solutions to offer stability to those who need extra support in assimilating to the community in stable housing situation. In this capacity we will be offering Life Skills classes and trauma counseling along with support form the local social service agencies to offer the best chance at stopping the cycle of homelessness.
